On Friday 1st September, Moore class have the exciting opportunity to go to Loughborough University to attend the school games which is a major multi-sport event for elite young athletes. The event aims to replicate the experience of a major sporting event like an Olympic or Paralympic Games and will have 1,600 athletes from across the UK competing across 12 sports, seven of which include disability disciplines, which is supported by National Lottery funding from Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust.
Children will need to be in school for 8.15am as the bus will leave at 8.20am prompt, and will return before the end of the school day.
Children will need to wear full school uniform and will need a packed lunch and a drink. Also depending on the weather on the day, they will need a raincoat or sun hat and sun cream.
There is no cost for this trip and all children from the class will be attending.
Kind regards
Mr Chapman - Moore Class
