Dear Parents/Carers,
Year 6 Black Country Living Museum Trip- Friday 23rd September 2022
On Friday 23rd September, children in Beekeeper Class (Year 6) will be going to The Black Country Living Museum to experience what life was like during The Industrial Revolution.
We would like the children to dress in Victorian clothes for the day so they can really immerse themselves in the atmosphere and to get the most out of the experience. Some of the activities will be indoor and some will be outside so please ensure they have a warm, waterproof coat should they need it.
The children will leave school at approximately 9.00am and travel to and from the venue by bus. Please note we will be returning to school around 3.30pm. ALL children will need a packed lunch and a drink. If your child receives Free School Meals and you would like the school to provide a basic packed lunch please speak to the school office.
The cost of the trip is £23.50, which includes entry to the museum, return coach travel, a tour guide and a mine show. The cost of the museum trip breakdown is as follows:
Museum cost £359.70
Bus Cost £435.00
School Subsidy - £140.00
Payments need to be made by Thursday 22nd September.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Hill – Class Teacher
