Key Stage 1 & 2 Visit To Derby Arena To Watch Aladdin

Dear Parents / Carers

Our theatre trip for Years 1 to 6 this year is to see “Aladdin” at Derby Arena on Wednesday 14^th December 2022.

We will be leaving school at 12:00pm for the performance at 1:30pm, therefore we will be having lunch slightly earlier at 11:30am. All children will need a packed lunch for this day to eat in their classrooms. If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals the school can provide a basic packed lunch, if you would like this providing please contact the school office before 12:00pm on Monday 12^th December 2022. Children will need to wear their uniform and bring along their water bottle to take with them. A snack will be provided for them during the interval.

To get the best price tickets for our children we have chosen a later performance so that the coach costs are lower. This does mean however, that we won’t be returning to school until 5:00pm. The children will return back to their classrooms and go out of the school via their normal exits. The cost for this trip is £20.95 which is payable via the Weduc app (payment can be made in instalments) Final payment to be made by Friday 2^nd December at the latest.

We are all really looking forward to seeing this classic story in action and giving the children the experience of live theatre!
