Year 5 Class Young Voices Trip

Young Voices order forms - Great Rollright CofE Primary School

Year 5 Young Voices Trip Friday 27th January 2023

Dear Parents

On Friday 27th January 2022, all children in Year 5 will be taking part in the Young Voices concert at Resorts World in Birmingham. Please click on the following link to learn more about what the day and evening involves https://www.youngvoices.co.uk/for-parents/

The cost of the trip is £15.95 and is payable on Weduc by Friday 9th December 2022. As the cost of coach trips are increasing, Ellistown Primary School has subsidised this keeping the price the same as last year.

We will leave school at 12.15pm to travel to the Young Voices concert venue by coach. As this coincides with lunchtime, all children will need to bring a packed lunch to eat at school before we leave. If your child receives Free School Meals and you would like the school to provide a basic packed lunch please let the school office know by Monday 23rd January 2023

Please could you also provide a further packed lunch for them to eat before the evening concert begins, and ensure that they have a large bottle of water with them as it will be a long day of singing!

The coach will be arriving back at school at approximately 10.30pm but we will keep you informed by if it looks like we will arrive earlier or later. If your child will be collected by another adult, you will need to inform the school in writing prior to the trip.

You will have the opportunity to purchase tickets so that you can come and watch, however you will need to make your own way to and from the venue. As it is extremely busy at the end of the concert, you will not be able to take your child home from the venue; they will need to be picked up from school.

I trust this answers any queries you may have, however, please contact the school if you require any additional information.

Kind regards, Mr Adams & Miss Glover,

Teachers & Young Voices Co-ordinators
