Year 2 Bumblebee Class visit to the Moira Furnace Museum

Dear   Parents / Carers

On Tuesday 4^th July 2023, children in Bumblebee class will be visiting Moira Furnace Museum to enrich their local history learning. Children will travel to the venue by coach, leaving school at 9.00am and will return before the end of the school day.

As we will be outside for parts of the day, please dress for the weather conditions at the time. (e.g. coat if wet or sun cream, sun hat as required). All children will need to wear full school uniform and will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink. If your child is in receipt of free school meals you can request a basic packed lunch from the school office. This needs to be ordered by Thursday 29^th July 2023 by email or calling 01530 260301, please do not place your order on your school grid account. 

To enable this trip to go ahead, a contribution of £14.60 is required per pupil via Weduc by Monday 5^th June 2023. This payment has been subsided by the school using fundraising gained by school events. Due to previous events this trip may be cancelled if we are unable to cover the cost of the trip.
