Whole School Christmas Pantomime 2026
Beauty & The Beast
Following the continued success of our previous in-school pantomime performances, we are delighted to welcome M&M Theatrical Productions back to Ellistown Primary School on Friday 11th December 2026 with their production of Beauty and the Beast.
As part of our Christmas celebrations, all children will have the opportunity to enjoy this exciting performance during the school day. In-school productions provide a fantastic theatrical experience for our pupils without the additional travel costs associated with visiting an external venue.
The total cost of the performance is £1,599.00. We are extremely grateful to Friends of Ellistown Primary School (FEPS) who have generously subsidised £624.00 of this cost, reducing the amount payable by families to £5.00 per child. This is considerably less than last year’s Christmas event.
Payment is available in the Trips section of your Arbor app and must be made by Friday 13th November 2026.
In agreement with the Governing Board, we have made the decision to run trips and educational visits in a different way this school year. We will still be offering the same experiences to children; however, we will not be advertising trips directly to pupils. Instead, information will be communicated directly to parents and carers via Arbor email and letters.
Please note that trips and events will not be booked until all payments have been received and, unfortunately, will not be able to go ahead if sufficient payments are not received by the stated deadline. Day trips will continue to be free for children on our Pupil Premium Register.
As an additional festive treat, the school will be providing a treat for all children during the interval of the performance.
Please also note that hot school dinners will not be available to order on this day as children will be eating lunch in their classrooms. Sandwiches will still be available to order through your SchoolGrid account as normal.
We are sure the children will thoroughly enjoy this special Christmas performance and look forward to sharing the magic of Beauty and the Beast with them.
If you have any questions regarding the pantomime or payment arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Kind regards,
Mrs Simone Fellows
